I bought this unit three years ago and have had only one very minor issue, the drain got clogged at the p trap behind the inside unit and it began to drip water inside.I was able to pull the unit just far enough off the wall to fix it.That happened after two years. Other than that this has been an excellent unit,I am still amazed at how well it works. We have a three bedroom two bath home that was built in the late thirties and it heats and cools it above my expectations. When it gets really cold for long periods at a time it does struggle a little keep the whole house warming but honestly for the space it's heating and cooling it does great.I'm going to buy one more and install at the other end of the house just for efficiency. If you're like me and really review products before you buy especially when you're spending this kind of money, you won't be disappointed in this unit. I live in Florida though so we only see below freezing temperatures once in a while. The thing about the heat pump is that if it's below freezing outside it has to continually reverse the cycle to defrost the outside unit which means it doesn't heat inside so well during those times. Bottom line I would definitely recommend this unit if you live in Florida or anywhere else if you want it for cooling. Jason on Jan 15th 2018
